The space

Restful Sleep
Master bedroom features a new KING sleep number bed and private half bath. Bedrooms 2 & 3 feature brand new QUEEN beds. Premium white bed linens & towels throughout. Each bedroom has plenty of closet space, hangers, and luggage racks. All bedrooms have a wall mounted TV with Roku, night stands, bedside lamps, bedside power outlets, and blackout shades for privacy and convenience.

Meals with Family and Friends
The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing family meals together. This includes a full size oven, 4 element cooktop, microwave, toaster, and outdoor gas grill. We provide olive oil, spices, utensils, flatware, dinnerware, plenty of glasses and mugs. There is a high-end 7 stage RO water filter at the kitchen sink so you can enjoy great tasting water. We pre-fill two glass water bottles in the fridge for your arrival. Seating for six at the dining room table and seating for two at the live edge wood high top table next to the kitchen.

Coffee Bar for Coffee Lovers
We have curated a wonderful coffee (and tea) experience. There is an award wining Technivorm Mocamaster pour-over coffee machine, Delhongi espresso machine, grinder, plus milk frother. We provide some coffee but make sure to bring your favorite beans and milk product.

- Any unauthorized pets will be charged at double the normal pet fee rate.

Accessibility Notice: The main level is accessible without any steps all the way from the parking area (4” door threshold). The entire main level (bedrooms 1-3, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, and living room) is accessible to those with reduced mobility. However, it may not be suited for those in wheelchairs.

Neighborhood overview

Quiet country road just outside Uptown Blacksburg and VT campus. Easy drivability to shopping, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Radford, Roanoke & New River access.

Highway 460 is 5 mins away and Blacksburg is about that same.

Getting around

Personal transportation is needed. The BT bus line is a couple miles away. Mount Tabor Road is popular with road bikers.

House Rules

1) No smoking, vaping, or illegal drug use. Any violations are a $1000 fine and removal from the property. We monitor with smart smoke sensors inside the home.
2) Any unauthorized guests will be charged an extra $150/guest/night.
3) No unauthorized parties, events, or gatherings. Please contact us for authorization.
4) Quiet Hours: (10PM to 8 AM). Please respect our neighbors and no noise during quiet hours.
5) Any lost or damaged items will be charged retail cost through the Airbnb portal.
6) Do not wash hair down the drains.
7) Do not flush any hygiene products down the toilets (septic system).
8) A security deposit of $400 is collected for any stays longer than 28 days and one monthly cleaning is required at $190.
9) All trash & leftover food must be bagged and ready for our cleaner. Large outdoor trashcan is provided outside near the grill. Excessive trash or deep cleaning will be charged through the Airbnb portal.
10) Pets are only allowed on a per case basis ($100 per pet minimum applies)

- Video surveillance is installed on the house exterior only. (Smart video doorbells)
